Hi! I'm Rachel!
I'm a Product Manager passionate about using tech to make a measurable, positive impact in the world.

4+ years of experience

I'm a Product Manager leading teams of 20+ and delivering impactful, scalable solutions for Reddit search at the intersection of AI, user safety, and result relevance. I led the first integration of ML, implemented 90+ improvements, and guided company-wide safe content solutions for sensitive content. These changes were featured in 120+ articles, totaling 1.4B monthly viewers.

I've been granted >$200k for numerous projects including Reddit's first Responsible ML and sustainability initiatives and projects in healthcare access and impact evaluation. I also manage engineers at Taimaka, a nonprofit addressing malnutrition in Nigeria, mentor aspiring tech professionals, and donate 5% of my income to effective charities.

I love to travel, hike, and photograph and people and places I come across in the world.

My Work

Products

Products I've built on both the backend and frontend - from making Reddit search safer to updating a vaccine tracking system for a health program in Nigeria.

Social Impact

Projects I've led and been granted >$200k in the spaces of sustainability, responsible AI, DIB in tech, mentorship

Photography and Film

Portraits and events I was hired for, as well as films I've directed and produced that have screened around the world.

The only constant is change, and it's our responsibility to make it intentionally positive and meaningful.
